Josh Allen Signs Record 6-Year Extension with Buffalo

The Super Bowl was a month ago and we know the offseason in the NFL is always busy. We know about Myles Garrett staying in Cleveland after signing a huge extension. Maxx Crosby is staying with the Raiders after signing his megadeal also. The 2024 NFL MVP signs record 6-year extension to remain in Buffalo. The record-setting six-year, $330 million contract through the 2030 season that includes $250 million guaranteed. It’s the largest guaranteed total given to an NFL player, surpassing the previous mark of Deshaun Watson, who received $230 million guaranteed. The DK Metcalf trade to Pittsburgh happened just before the Josh Allen deal was announced.

Josh Allen became the first player in NFL history to record at least 25 touchdown passes and 10 touchdown runs with fewer than 10 interceptions in a season. He finished with 28 touchdown passes, 12 rushing touchdowns and 6 interceptions. The Buffalo Bills released Von Miller, but hoping to bring him back on a cheaper deal. The extension tops a slew of recent new deals for Buffalo players: defensive end Greg Rousseau reached a four-year, $80 million contract; linebacker Terrel Bernard got a four-year, $50 million contract; and receiver Khalil Shakir agreed to a four-year, $53 million extension. How will these deals affect the potential deal for James Cook? Cook has said he wanted to be paid like a top running back in this league.

What do you think about the new deal for Josh Allen? Will the Buffalo Bills finally make a Super Bowl run this upcoming season? Leave some feedback about anything related to Josh Allen or the Buffalo Bills below.
