Stephon Diggs Out for Remainder of Season
The Houston Texans are expected to make a deep playoff run this postseason. They are now 6-2 and one of the best teams in the AFC. They have taken a huge hit due to Stephon Diggs being out for the remainder of the season. The team announced Diggs tore his ACL in the win over Indianapolis this past weekend. Diggs finished the season with 57 catches for 496 yards and three touchdowns. Houston traded for Diggs this offseason to bolster an already great receiving core. Houston was one of my top AFC teams entering the 2024 season. The trio of Stephon Diggs, Nico Collins and Tank Dell were arguably the best in the league. Nico Collins is out as he’s dealing with a hamstring injury.
With the restructuring of his contract, Diggs will become a free agent this offseason. Stephon Diggs will be 31 next season and will be coming off a major injury. This could affect his market, but we wish him a speedy recovery during this time.
