Immanuel Quickley Signs 5-Year Deal to Remain with Toronto

Immanuel Quickley signs 5-year deal to remain with the Toronto Raptors. Quickley was traded to the Raptors along with RJ Barrett for OG Anunoby. Since his arrival, Quickley quickly established himself as one of the bright young guards. A first-round pick of the Knicks in 2020, Quickley played almost exclusively off the bench and did not start any of the 30 games he played for New York this year. However, he started all 38 games he played for the Raptors and averaged 18.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 6.8 assists, which would all be career-best averages for Quickley over a full season. The signing of Immanuel Quickley signals he’s one of the cornerstone players for the future in Toronto. The signing of Quickley comes just days after Scottie Barnes signed his max extension with the Raptors.
